OK, not exactly "last minute", 8 weeks to go...
As mentioned earlier, I'm going (rchotel (http://www.rchotel.com/)).
rcheliaddict.co.uk (http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/3d-championships/29361-championships-spring-break.html) have booked the place for the 3D championship spring break, so there won't be too much trouble with planks.

Cost: £ 220 for the hotel, £416 for the flight. Hmmm...
LiPos can't be taken on-board anymore (not the amount I need for the 700), FedExing them would cost about €120 per direction. Nitro might be the better option.

Anssi told me a story of their trip to United States... They had to fill fuel tank with water, and try to clean the frame out of all nitro methane and oil. Anssi can explain more better. Anyhow some problems with nitro too :)

yes... I'm actually wondering, whether it's better to even pack the engines separately for inspection.

Good that you finally made it there. Weather seems to be almost as good as here and same applies to the pilots  ;D.
