I'm making progress with my boom strikes...
As the picture shows: One impression from each blade. And in a place where the blades usually can't get (it's 10 cm behind the tail fin).
What happened? The tail support clamp broke in flight (I had changed a screw just before the flight). Without support the boom broke and flipped upwards into the rotor.
All that with a heli that had gone through 3h of maintenance in the morning, freshly balanced, and otherwise purring like a kitten. The boom was less than a week old.

is the CNC upgrade that would have prevented this.
Oh well...

Ei tarvi muuten mennä merta edemmäksi kalaan, vaan löytyy niitä metallisia kotimaastakin: http://trex-store.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=61_39&products_id=292 (http://trex-store.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=61_39&products_id=292)

OK, thanks.
Well, I'm in the middle of making a US order anyway, need a new microheli CNC main gear.
